Mass will be said tomorrow for John Patrick Confrey III, 28, a former Babylon resident who died in a motorcycle accident Sunday July 4, 1976 near Los Angeles. His father John Patrick Confrey, Jr., is president of the West Babylon School Board.
For the past six months, Confrey had lived in Huntington Beach, California where he worked as an Engineer. He was a 1966 graduate of West Babylon High School and attended the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and Villanova University.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia; his parents John and Margaret Confrey of Babylon; two brothers Kevin of Baldwin and Padraic of Babylon; a sister Margaret of Babylon and his grandmother Margaret Utterbach of Janesville, CA.
Mass is at 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, West Bablyon. Cremation is at Boyd Funeral Home, Babylon.
